International conference NEWTECH 2011

The international conference on advanced manufacturing engineering is held under the auspices of the dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Brno University of Technology – Prof. RNDr. Miroslav DOUPOVEC, CSc.
The fundamental aim of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in all new technologies, manufacturing processes and design of new machining machines.
Mr. Pavel Holubar from SHM will participate as a member of Scientific Commitee and is a co-author of a paper to be presented together with our business partner Pramet Tools, s.r.o. Šumperk "Applications of TripleCoatings on indexable inserts".

Visit of Hong Kong delegation to SHM

We were very happy to host a delegation of leading personel of industrial companies from Hong Kong and China, who visited us during their "Overseas Training Course to Czech Republic and Germany", a mission ogranized by the Hong Kong Productivity Coucil with the help of Prof. Stan Vepřek from Technical University of Munich.

- International conference Vacuum and Plasma Surface Engineering organized by Technical University of Lodz, Technical University of Liberec, Warsaw University of Technology and The University of Alabama at Birmingham. The aim of the conference was among others presentation of the newest achievements and development results in the vacuum and plasma technologies field.
- Mr. Mojmír Jílek jr. presented a paper "Influence of process parameters on structure of TiAlN coating prepared by a system with rotary arc cathodes" on this conference representing SHM.

Second Central European Symposium on Plasma Chemistry
Brno, Czech Republic, 31st August - 4th September 2008
- This syposium was organised by the Department of Physical Electronics, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University and by Union of Czech Mathematiciants and Physicists. The Second Central European Symposium on Plasma Chemistry followed the First Central European Symposium on Plasma Chemistry, which was successfully held in Gdańsk, Poland, 27–31 May, 2006 and a series of seven Polish Symposiums on Plasma Chemistry originated in 1971. A special attention was given to the industrial manufacturing and application aspects of environmentally friendly alternative processes as well as to plasma engineering technologies at atmospheric pressure.

Pramet cutting days
Šumperk, Czech Republic, 9th - 13th June 2008
- Aim of this event was a presentation of company Pramet Tools and its business partners. SHM presented itself in own exposition. Wednesday June 11th was devoted to SHM at the occasion of 15th anniversary of its founding. On the same day you had the opportunity to visit SHM in the company seat.
- Your interest in visiting us was great. There were more than 130 visitors, who viewed our production space. We would like to thank you for celebrating thus our 15th aniversary.
